Application:
2,4,6,8-Tetramethylcyclotetrasiloxane [2370-88-9] can be used to prepare a variety of methyl hydrogen siloxanes and modified siloxanes with specific hydrogen content and required number of chain links. Preparation of room temperature vulcanised silicone rubber, cross-linking agents for overmoulded liquid silicone rubber; synthesis of side chain polysiloxane liquid crystal polymers, and a variety of high quality side chain modified silicone oils. It is also an excellent impregnating agent for optoelectronic materials.
